Buffet and boffins night 

Paula O'Brien from Finchley, North London, held a superb quiz night and dinner for 25 friends. She explains:

"It was quite an easy event to organise. I laid out a cold buffet and invited 25 friends over charging them £10 each for food and the quiz. Pretty reasonable I think!  I divided them into five teams of five. We also had collection boxes placed strategically around the room to pick up some extra change from participants.

I used the FSID quiz as a base, changing a couple of the questions and adding a picture round. It was great fun to organise, the teams enjoyed themselves and the winners were awarded with soft toy "wise owls".

I am pleased to have been able to contribute to the charity my daughter works for and spread FSID messages amongst my friends. We raised just over £300 from the night."
