The SIDS International conference 2008 will cover fetal deaths and deaths in the first two years of life, focusing on deaths which were unexpected.
This will be a time to look forward to explore how we can work together on traditional areas of study and new understanding to illuminate and eliminate avoidable deaths.
It is for scientists, researchers, health professionals, coroners, pathologists, police, counsellors, educators, bereaved families, government departments and voluntary organisations.
Delegates are invited to contribute and share their work by registering abstracts in the Call for Papers online at www.sids2008.org.uk The site also has more information about the conference topics, registration fees and social events.
The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) is hosting the event on behalf of SIDS International and The International Society for the Study and Prevention of Infant Deaths (ISPID), and is very grateful to grobag®, the baby sleeping bag specialist and the event’s platinum sponsor.
