Whitewater rafting is a thrilling experience and one that you will never forget and now you can raft for FREE! This exciting activity is yours to experience by choosing to raft in aid of FSID.

By undertaking to raise a minimum sponsorship level you or your white water rafting team can make a sizeable donation to FSID whilst receiving your training and whitewater rafting experience for FREE.

 

Team White water rafting

River rafting is just a click away for you and up to 7 of your friends with our white water rafting adventure. The UK has some of the best white water rivers and courses in the world and all you have to do is decide where you wish to raft.

You and your friends can choose from either the thrilling natural whitewater rivers in Wales and Scotland or the tantalising man-made rafting courses in Nottingham, Northampton or Teeside. No experience is necessary as our expert river rafting guides will steer your raft through the white water rapids to give you the most enjoyable ride of your life.

If you choose to whitewater raft as a team then you and your fellow thrill seekers will brave the rapids in your raft for up to two hours as you are taken through some of the UK's wildest rafting territory. Available for up to eight rafters each individual is assigned a position and given a paddle ready to pull the raft through the challenge of a real white water adventure!

By choosing the specially designed river rapids of the man-made courses you and your friends will be pitted against some of the wildest white water ever thought up! Rafting with your white water guide you and your team will run the course against the clock each time improving your rafting skills and trying to beat the existing rafting records.

No river or whitewater rafting experience is necessary as full training is given and each raft is in the hands of a white water professional. All you have to do is decide which of your friends will be in your team.

 

The sponsorship level is set at £1000 for a whole team of up to 8 people, that is just £125 per person and of course you are allowed to raise more! From the minimum sponsorship raised by a team FSID would receive an average donation of £600! 

 

Individual White water rafting

You can also enjoy the exhilaration of battling white water rapids with our individual rafting adventure. All you need to do is sign up for an amazing whitewater experience at one of the UK's best rafting locations and away you go.

 

No experience is necessary for your rafting extravaganza as you will be placed in a raft with up to 8 other thrill seekers and your very own whitewater rafting guide. You will be shown all of the rafting techniques required before you set of to ride the rapids.

Choose from either one of the wildest natural rivers in Scotland or some of the most devilish man made rafting courses around. Each white water experience presents its own challenges as you are given your spot in the raft and your trusty paddle to help run those rapids. For up to 2 hours you will either navigate the twists and turns of the River Tay in Scotland shooting the rapids or race against the clock on a course designed to test and tease all with the help of your team for the day and your whitewater rafting guide.

• No experience required as all rafting training and equipment is provided
